This is the day-by-day plan of the Mussoorie Nainital Jim Corbett tour.

Day 1: Delhi or Dehradun to Mussoorie

We meet you in Delhi (about 290 km, seven hours) or at Dehradun airport or station (one to one and a half hours). Drive up the hill road to Mussoorie and check in to your hotel. In the evening, walk along the Mall and Camel’s Back Road.

Day 2: Mussoorie Sightseeing

Ride the cable car to Gun Hill for views of the snow peaks, visit Christ Church and walk up through Landour to Lal Tibba. In the afternoon, drive about 15 km to Kempty Falls, or relax at Company Garden.

Day 3: Mussoorie to Nainital

After an early breakfast, drive down through the foothills and across to the Kumaon hills, a long drive of about eight to nine hours. Check in to your hotel in Nainital and take an evening walk around Naini Lake.

Day 4: Nainital Sightseeing

Ride the cable car to Snow View Point, visit the Naina Devi temple and walk or take a pony to Tiffin Top. Shop at the Tibetan market in Mallital, and end the day with a boat ride on Naini Lake as the sun goes down.

Day 5: Nainital to Jim Corbett and Afternoon Safari

Drive about 65 km, two hours, down to the jungle resorts near Ramnagar. After lunch, go on your first jeep safari in an open jeep with a park guide, looking for tigers, elephants, deer and birds.

Start before sunrise for a morning jeep safari, the best time to see animals. Return to the resort for breakfast. In the afternoon, visit the Garjiya Devi temple on the Kosi river or the Corbett Museum at Kaladhungi, or relax at the resort.
