This is the day-by-day plan of the tour.

Day 1: Arrive in Prayagraj, Anand Bhavan, Alopi Devi and the Sangam Evening Aarti

Your Prayagraj 2-day tour package begins on arrival. We meet you at Prayagraj airport or station and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Anand Bhavan and Swaraj Bhavan, the Nehru family home and now a museum of India’s freedom struggle, then Chandrashekhar Azad Park and the Allahabad Museum. Have darshan at the Alopi Devi temple, a Shakti Peeth where a wooden cradle is worshipped instead of an idol. In the evening, watch the aarti on the banks of the Sangam, with lamps, bells and chants by the river.

Day 2: Sunrise Boat Ride, Sangam Snan, Lete Hanuman, Akshayavat and Departure

Day 2 of the Prayagraj 2-day tour package starts early. Take a private boat from the ghat near the fort to the Triveni Sangam at sunrise, and see the line where the brown Ganga meets the green-blue Yamuna. Take a holy dip, the Sangam Snan, from the wooden platforms, or simply watch and float a small leaf lamp. Back on shore, have darshan at the Lete Hanuman temple, with its lying statue of Lord Hanuman, then visit the Akshayavat, the immortal banyan tree, and the underground Patalpuri temple inside the walls of Akbar’s Allahabad Fort.
