This is the plan of our Beautiful Kashmir tour, one of our most popular Kashmir tour packages.

Day 1: Arrive in Srinagar

We meet you at Srinagar airport and take you to your Dal Lake houseboat. Take an optional sunset Shikara ride.

Day 2: Dal Lake and the Mughal Gardens

Take a Shikara ride on Dal Lake, then visit Nishat Bagh, Shalimar Bagh and Chashme Shahi. Later, see the old city markets or Shankaracharya Temple.

Day 3: Gulmarg Day Trip

Drive to Gulmarg and ride the Gulmarg Gondola for views of the Pir Panjal range: snow in winter, meadows in summer. Return to the houseboat.

Day 4: Srinagar to Pahalgam

Drive through the saffron fields of Pampore to Pahalgam and relax by the Lidder river.

Day 5: Betaab Valley and Aru Valley

Visit Betaab Valley and Aru Valley by local taxi. Pony rides are optional.

Day 6: Pahalgam to Srinagar

Return to Srinagar to shop at Lal Chowk and the Bund, with a farewell Wazwan dinner.

Day 7: Departure

After breakfast, transfer to Srinagar airport.

Best Time for Kashmir Tour Packages

March to June is the best time for Kashmir tour packages for gardens, tulips and green meadows. July to September is good for Sonamarg, Ladakh and treks, with some rain. October and November bring golden chinar trees and the saffron harvest. December to February is the season for snow and skiing in Gulmarg, though some roads may close after heavy snow.

How many days are enough for Kashmir?

Five days cover Srinagar, Gulmarg and Pahalgam. Seven to eight days let you add Sonamarg and a slower pace.

Which is better: Gulmarg, Pahalgam or Sonamarg?

Gulmarg is best for snow and the gondola, Pahalgam for green valleys and rivers, and Sonamarg for glaciers. Most of our Kashmir tour packages include at least two of them.

Do your Kashmir tour packages include flights?

Not by default, but we can add flights from your city to Srinagar.

Is a houseboat stay included?

Yes. Most of our Kashmir tour packages include one to three nights on a Dal Lake houseboat.

When can I see snow in Kashmir?
