Sample Andaman 5 Nights 6 Days Itinerary

This is how most of our Andaman tour packages run.

Day 1: Arrive in Port Blair, Corbyn’s Cove and the Cellular Jail

We meet you at Port Blair airport. Visit Corbyn’s Cove beach and the Cellular Jail, where freedom fighters were held, and watch the evening light and sound show.

Day 2: Ferry to Havelock and Radhanagar Beach

Take the ferry to Havelock Island (Swaraj Dweep), about two hours. In the afternoon, swim and watch the sunset at Radhanagar Beach.

Day 3: Elephant Beach and Water Sports

Take a boat to Elephant Beach for snorkelling, sea walking or a glass-bottom boat ride, or book a scuba dive.

Day 4: Ferry to Neil Island

Ferry to Neil Island (Shaheed Dweep), about one hour. See the Natural Bridge at low tide, Laxmanpur Beach at sunset and the calm waters of Bharatpur Beach.

Day 5: Back to Port Blair, Ross Island and Chidiya Tapu

Ferry back to Port Blair. Visit Ross Island, the old British headquarters, now Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose Dweep, or watch the sunset at Chidiya Tapu.

Day 6: Departure

Shop for shell crafts, then transfer to the airport.

Best Time for Andaman Tour Packages

October to May is the best time for Andaman tour packages, with calm seas, clear water for diving and sunny days. December to February is the peak season, so book early. From June to September the monsoon brings rough seas, and some ferries and water sports may stop.

Five nights and six days is the most popular choice, enough for Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Island. Add a night or two for diving or Baratang.

Do your Andaman tour packages include flights?

Do Indian travellers need a permit?

No permit is needed for Indian citizens to visit Port Blair, Havelock and Neil Island. Some tribal and protected areas are closed to all visitors.

Can foreign nationals visit the Andamans?

Yes. Foreign visitors need a valid Indian visa, and permit and registration rules can change, so we check the latest rules for you before you travel.

Is scuba diving safe for beginners?

Yes, with a licensed dive centre. Beginners do a short lesson and a shallow “try dive” with an instructor. Do not fly within 24 hours after diving.
