This is the day-by-day plan of the 6-day Golden Triangle tour.

Day 1: Arrive in Delhi

We meet you at Delhi airport and take you to your hotel. In the afternoon, visit Humayun’s Tomb, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and the model for the Taj Mahal. Then see the Swaminarayan Akshardham Temple. The evening is free. Your 6-day Golden Triangle tour has begun.

Overnight: Delhi

Day 2: Old Delhi and New Delhi

After breakfast, enjoy a heritage walk in the Mughal walled city of Shahjahanabad, Old Delhi. Visit Jama Masjid, ride a rickshaw through Chandni Chowk and see the Red Fort. Stop for lunch, then drive past India Gate and the President’s House in New Delhi. End the day at the Qutub Minar.

Day 3: Delhi to Agra

After breakfast, drive to Agra, a journey of three to four hours. In the afternoon, enjoy a heritage walk in the Mughal heritage of Agra with a visit to Agra Fort, the home of the Mughal emperors. At sunset, see the Taj Mahal across the river from Mehtab Bagh garden.

Day 4: Taj Mahal at Sunrise, Fatehpur Sikri and Jaipur

Day four is the highlight of the 6-day Golden Triangle tour. Rise early to see the Taj Mahal at sunrise. After breakfast, drive towards Jaipur. On the way, enjoy a heritage walk in the Mughal walled city of Fatehpur Sikri, Akbar’s lost capital. Then stop at Keoladeo National Park in Bharatpur, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its birds. Reach Jaipur by evening.

Day 5: Jaipur, the Pink City

After breakfast, go up to Amber Fort by jeep and walk through its courtyards and mirror palace. In the afternoon, visit the City Palace, the Jantar Mantar observatory and Hawa Mahal, the Palace of Winds. In the evening, shop for jewellery and textiles in Johari Bazaar.

Day 6: Departure from Jaipur or Delhi

After breakfast, we take you to Jaipur airport or railway station. If your flight leaves from Delhi, we drive you back to Delhi, a journey of five to six hours. Your 6-day Golden Triangle tour ends here.

The Taj Mahal is closed on Fridays, and the Red Fort and Akshardham are closed on Mondays. We change the order of the days to suit your travel dates.
